Lone Tree Nature Preserve

The 2021 addition of Lone Tree Nature Preserve adjacent to  the Green Trees Ranch  adds to the preservation of this oak woodland and pine ecosystem. The Preserve portion is under a conservation easement under the guidance of the Pacific Forest Land Trust, protecting the watershed of the local creeks and rivers. The result is miles of natural trails to explore along the naturally grassy ridgetop and down in the cool pine and yew forests.

The Preserve includes a renovated small 1-bedroom cabin with an endless ridgetop view (available as a vacation rental), a small year-round pond, and miles of solitude and exploration.
